TexMed Staffing plans to continue to grow operations in both volume of highly trained personnel, as well as the locale of where they operate their services. The company has plans to continue to grow operations in Houston, has open satellite offices in Austin and/or San Antonio and in the near future, plans to open an office in Dallas or make an acquisition of an already established agency in Dallas.

Management Team -

Senior Management

TexMed Staffing’s image has been crafted to reflect the integrity of senior management. Utilizing their years of experience as RNs and sales representatives, senior management has developed TexMed Staffing to close the gaps within the medical staffing industry. By conceptualizing the needs of healthcare providers, senior management created the Company to become a leader in placing highly qualified nurses into specialized staffing positions. The following individuals have been extremely influential in the early success of TexMed Staffing and will be indispensable to the future growth of the company:

Rob Colbert, President/CEO – Mr. Colbert attended Canadore College in North Bay, Ontario, Canada where he received a Diploma in Nursing. Prior to starting the Company, Mr. Colbert was a sales representative at Smith & Nephew for five years. In this role, Mr. Colbert was responsible for the sales of Smith & Nephew’s products in the Southwest Houston region. Mr. Colbert also has five years experience conducting similar duties as a sales representative for DePuy, Orthopedics, Inc. As a sales representative for these firms, Mr. Colbert fostered lasting relationships with orthopedic surgeons and hospitals throughout this region. Mr. Colbert also has more than 16 years experience as an RN, including operating room, operating room management at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Houston. Mr. Colbert has been a staff nurse, middle management, and senior management within medical facilities. In addition, while with Smith & Nephew, Mr. Colbert received the President’s Club award for three years in a row in the Top 25 in the country of sales.

Steve Cline, Vice President/COO – Mr. Cline received his Diploma in Nursing from Georgian College Barrie, which is located in Ontario, Canada. Prior to starting TexMed Staffing, Mr. Cline worked at Smith & Nephew. In this position, Mr. Cline was responsible for the sales of Smith & Nephew's products in the Southwest Houston region. He also has four years experience performing similar duties as a sales representative for Arthrex. Mr. Cline has created long-lasting relationships with key downstream decision makers due to his sales experience. Mr. Cline also has 14 years experience as an RN. Mr. Cline’s management experience includes three years of middle management, over seeing the daily operations of a 27-room operating room and two years experience of upper management as a Director of Peri-Operative Services with the Memorial Hermann Health Care System.

Support Staff

Julie Rando, Office Manager - Ms. Rando joined the TexMed Staffing team in August 2006. As Office Manager, Ms. Rando oversees and directs the efforts of the Houston office. Ms. Rando is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the office. Ms. Rando is also responsible for payroll, A/P and A/R. During her 25-year career Ms. Rando has managed three offices. Two offices were in the commercial real estate field and one in the nurse staffing industry. Her expertise includes payroll, A/P, A/R, hiring and firing of personnel, and overseeing a staff of 15. Prior to joining TexMed Staffing, Ms. Rando was the office manager of National Property Valuation (NPV) and Trahan & Partners. At National Property Valuation, she managed a staff of seven and was responsible for all operations of the company. Before joining National Property Valuation, her early career was with Trahan & Partners, where she helped to grow the firm from five appraisers to a nationally recognized organization with multiple offices and more than 25 employees.

Delia Cisneros, Scheduling Coordinator - Ms. Cisneros joined the TexMed Staffing team in January 2007. Ms. Cisneros has over eight years of experience as a Scheduling Coordinator. Ms. Cisneros is responsible for coordinating and scheduling all of facilities and staff. 

Kelly Cloud, HR/Credentialing Specialist – Ms. Cloud has lived in the Houston area for nearly 20 years. Ms. Cloud has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Houston. Ms. Cloud joined the TexMed Staffing team in January 2008. Ms. Cloud is responsible for hiring all of our new employees. Ms. Cloud is the one who will help you get started here at TexMed Staffing.

Fred Yu, Evening/Weekend Scheduler – Mr. Yu joined the TexMed Staffing team in June 2007. Mr. Yu started here as our HR/Credentialing Specialist, but returned to nursing school in January 2008. Mr. Yu moved from Credentialing Specialist to working for us part-time as our Evening/Weekend Scheduler.

Barb Weber, RN: Assistant HR/Credentialing Specialist -Ms. Weber joined TexMed Staffing in July 2008; however, has worked with TexMed Staffing for her staffing needs at the various hospitals she worked in since the company started March 2006. She was Director of Peri-Operative Services in many of the Houston area hospitals over her 45-year career until her retirement in Spring 2008. Ms. Weber brings many, many years of experience to the TexMed Staffing team.

Mary LeBlanc, Staffing Coordinator - Ms. LeBlanc joined the TexMed Staffing team in October 2008. Ms. LeBlanc has many years of experience in the staffing industry and joined our team as part of our expansion into staffing all areas of nursing.  Ms. LeBlanc is responsible for coordinating and scheduling of facilities and staff.
