“Why I Love Working for TexMed Staffing:
It may sound like a cliché but I love the autonomy of self scheduling and being able to have control over where and when I work. Being in control of my schedule helps me since I am a single parent and relish being able to be at home more for my child without having to worry about long evenings at work, call, and work schedules that are almost non-negotiable at some hospitals and surgery centers. I personally love being able to go to different places and meet different people. By being an agency nurse I am always learning new products, new surgical techniques, and new ideas that I can take with me and utilize in my practice in other areas. Technology has advanced so much in just the last 9 years since I started as an OR nurse that you always have to try to find ways to keep informed and up to date on all the latest equipment and procedures which in effect keeps your skills at a level where you can stay competitive in an ever changing specialty. There is also the added bonus of having available, as an option, medical/dental insurance, life insurance, and a 401K. That in combination with working for some of the best bosses in the industry are the primary reasons I am a proud TexMed staff employee. Thanks for your time”
